Claire Foy is an English actress, who is originally known as Claire Elizabeth Foy, she was born on April 16, 1984, in Stockport, England to Caroline and David Foy. Her father David is a sales consultant and her mother works for a pharmaceutical company. Claire Foy has the height of 5 feet and 4 inches, she weighs 53kg, her hair color is light brown and she has blue eye color, has a perfect figure, aside from these.

Foy attended a girl’s grammar school named Aylesbury High School from the age of 12 years. She then attended Liverpool John Moores University where she studied drama and screen studies. She also undergoes a one-year training course at the Oxford School of Drama and she graduated in 2007. Her student years were fun for her but it was financially hard and she had to take up lots of menial jobs to help pay up her fees through university, and she later moved to Peckham to share a house with the five friends she met from drama school.

Foy was the youngest of three children of her parents. Her parents divorced when she was eight years old, so she moved to Buckinghamshire with her mother, brother Robert, and sister Gemma, and by the time she was a teenager, she found herself getting quite angry, although she can’t pinpoint the exact reasons why she is like that. According to her, acting as her own way of getting off the anger that came with the pressures of conformity.

She got married to Stephen Campbell Moore since December 2014 and they have only one child, in 2015, she was two months pregnant with her daughter (Ivy Rose), when she finished filming Wolf Hall.  She has won three Awards and has gotten 18 nominations.

Claire Foy and her husband have let the cat out of the bag that while she was on the set of the second season of The Crown, her husband was battling a devastating cancer of the brain diagnosis. The illness of her husband gave her a lot of stress during the shooting of the second season of The Crown, she says in the conversation with The Sun. Claire was coping with the news that her husband, Stephen Campbell would be Undergoing a life-changing operation.

Stephen Campbell is also an actor and he was being diagnosed with a benign tumor on his pituitary gland which is at the base of the brain, for her, waking up and was being told that the operation was successful was automatically an understandably huge relief.  She has a net worth of $4 million but her salary is yet unknown.  She was trained as a ballet dancer from when she was young, but she got juvenile arthritis when she was 13 years of age and that problem made her quit dancing, she also developed a benign tumor in one eye at the age of 17 and she was a bit scary and looks like a Cyclops and she was on steroids for about one year and the half and it later makes her put on a lot of weight and with a really bad skin, but it was  later removed without leaving Claire with any facial disfigurations . It was so horrible and she was very weak for a long time, but on the other hand, it made her realize that she had to get the best of everything out of life. And who would ever believe she is highly skilled at playing the piano, yes she is!. She was listed by Nylon Magazine in 2010 as one of the 55 Faces for the Future.

There was once a rumor that Foy and Moore got separated, but the news was found to be false after the couple made it clear that they are enjoying their marital life along with their daughter. Currently, there are no rumors regarding Foy’s professional and personal life.

Foy has appeared in the series “plays Top Girls”, “Easy Virtue”, “Watership Down” and “Touched” when she was at Oxford School of Drama. She made her debut professional stage in movies “The Miracle” and “DNA”. She has also appeared in BBC mini-series “Little Dorrit” as the main protagonist as Amy Dorrit and she starred as Lady Persephone in the BBC revival of Upstairs Downstairs. In February 2011, he co-starred in “The Promise” Channel 4 mini-series which was broadcasted. It was her favorite job ever. She played a lead role as Helen in the TV movie The Night Watch. This film was based on a Sarah Waters novel. As Lady Macbeth, she returned to stage alongside James McAvoy in February 2013.
