Here we go again with one of my favorites’ old cartoon‘s nothing makes my weekends more like sitting and watching good old cartoons in this article we will be looking at some of the world funniest and classic cartoons that have been part of our lives from the cradle.

1.Tom and Jerry

Tom and Jerry created in America is a cartoon series which kicked off in1940, by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. The cartoon is all about a rivalry between two characters, Tom and Jerry, and many other characters, based on slapstick comedy. The series features comic fights between an iconic set of adversaries, a house cat (Tom) and a mouse (Jerry). The plots of each short usually center on Tom’s many attempts to capture Jerry and the destruction that follows. Tom rarely succeeds in catching Jerry, mainly because of Jerry’s cleverness, cunning abilities, and luck. However, there are also several instances within the cartoons where they display genuine friendship and concern for each other’s well-being.Tom & Jerry cartoon is an old cartoon who’s still on people mind.At other times, the pair set aside their rivalry in order to pursue a common goal, such as when a baby escaped the watch of a negligent babysitter, causing Tom and Jerry to pursue the baby and keep it away from danger.

2. Dexter Laboratory

Dexter’s Laboratory Dexter’s Lab is another American comic science television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky. Dexter won kids heart since 1990’s &he is an old cartoon who defined the robotics in 1990’s by his experiments.The series follows Dexter, a little-genius, and inventor with a secret lab in the basement of his house, who constantly battles his sister Dee Dee in an attempt to keep her out of the lab. He also engages in a bitter rivalry with his neighbor and fellow-genius Mandark. Dexter manages to keep the lab a secret from his clueless, cheerful Mom and Dad, who never take notice of it. However, he is frequently in conflict with his hyperactive older sister, Dee Dee. In spite of Dexter’s advanced technology, Dee Dee escapes all security, and once inside her brother’s laboratory, she delights in playing with all his gadgets, often wreaking havoc with his inventions.


3.Looney Tunes

Looney Tunes is a comedy short old cartoon films produced by Warner Bros. the cartoon made us know characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Tweety, and many others. The most popular character is Bugs Bunny; he is regarded as a cultural icon and has a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.

4.Scooby-Doo

Scooby-Doo is an American animated old cartoon comprising much-animated television series produced from 1969 to the present day. Written by Joe Ruby and Ken spears created the original series, Scooby Doo where are you, for Hanna Barbara production company in 1969. Following the success of the original series, Hanna-Barbera and its successor Warner Bros animation have produced numerous follow-up and spin-off animated series and several related works, including television specials and made-for-TV movies, a line of direct to videos films, and two Warner bros–produced theatrical feature films. Their original treatment, based in part on The Archie Show, was titled Mysteries Five and featured five teenagers: Geoff, Mike, Kelly, Linda, Linda’s brother W.W. and their bongo-playing dog, Too Much, who were all members of the band Mysteries Five. When The Mysteries Five were not performing at gigs, they were out solving spooky mysteries involving ghosts, zombies and other supernatural creatures. Ruby and Spears were unable to decide whether Too Much would be a large cowardly dog or a small feisty dog. Ruby and Spears wrote Too Much as a Great Dane but revised the dog character to a large sheepdog (similar to the Archie’s’ sheepdog, a Hotdog just before their presentation to Silverman, as Ruby feared the character would be too similar to the comic strip character.

5.Flintstones

The Flintstones is an American animated old cartoon produced by Hanna Barbera for ABC. The series takes place in a romanticized Stone age setting, depicts the lives of the titular characters and their next-door neighbors and best friends. It was originally broadcast on September 30, 1960, to April 1, 1966, in a prime-time schedule, the first such instance for an animated series.

The show is set in the Stone Age town of Bedrocks with dinosaurs and other long-extinct animals co-exist with cavemen, saber-tooth cats, and Wooly mammoth. Like their mid-20th century counterparts, these cavemen listen to records, live in split-level homes, and eat at restaurants, yet their technology is made entirely from pre-industrial materials and powered primarily through the use of animals. For example, the cars are made out of stone, wood, and animal skins, and powered by the passengers’ feet.

6.Powerpuff Girls

The Power Puff Girls is an American superhero animated television series created by animator Craig McCracken for cartoon network. The show centers on Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, three sisters with superpowers as well as their father, the brainy scientist Professor Utonium, who all live in the city of Townsville. The girls are frequently called upon by the town’s naïve mayor to help fight nearby criminals using their powers. The show revolves around the adventures of three kindergartens aged girls with superpowers: Blossom (pink), Bubbles (blue), and Buttercup (green). The plot of an episode is usually some humorous variation of standard superhero and tokusatsu shows, with the girls using their powers to defend their town from villains and giant monsters. In addition, the girls have to deal with the normal issues that young children face, such as sibling rivalries, loose teeth, personal hygiene, going to school, bed wetting or dependence on a security blanket. Episodes often contain hidden references to older pop culture (especially noticeable in the episode “Meet the Beat-Alls,” which is an homage to the Beatles

7.Ed, Edd n Eddy

Ed, Edd n Eddy is a Canadian-American animated comedy television series created by Danny Antonucci for cartoon network, and the sixth of the network’s cartoon cartoons. The series revolves around three preteen boys named Ed, Edd (called “Double D”), and Eddy—collectively known as “the Eds”—who live in a suburban cul-de-sac in the fictional town of Peach Creek. Under the leadership of Eddy, the trio frequently invents schemes to make money from their peers to purchase their favorite confectionery, lawbreakers.Their plans usually fail, leaving them in various, humiliating, problems.this old cartoon is one of the best since 90’s.

8.Little Lulu

Little Lulu is a comic created in 1935 by Henderson Buell. The character, Lulu Moppet, debuted in the Saturday evening post on 23 February 1935 in a single panel, appearing as a flower girl at a wedding and mischievously strewing the aisle with banana peels. Little Lulu replaced Carl Anderson’s Henry, which had been picked up for distribution by features syndicates. The Little Lulu panel continued to run weekly in The Saturday Evening Post until 30 December 1944.

Little Lulu, a resourceful, equally silent (at first) little girl whose loopy curls were reminiscent of the artist’s own as a girl.

 

9.Popeye

Popeye the Sailor is an old cartoon fictional character created by Elsie Segar. The character first appeared in the daily king features comic strip, Thimble Theatre, on January 17, 1929, and Popeye became the strip’s title in later years; Popeye has also appeared in theatrical and television animated cartoons.Popeye gets his strength from rubbing the head of the Whiffle Hen, changing to spinach by 1932. Swee’Pea is definitively Popeye’s ward in the comic strips, but he is often depicted as belonging to Olive Oyl in cartoons. The cartoons also occasionally feature members of Popeye’s family who have never appeared in the strip, notably his lookalike nephews Peepeye, Pupeye, Pipeye, and Poopeye.Popeye’s pipe also proves to be highly versatile. Among other things, it has served as a cutting torch, jet engine, propeller, periscope, musical instrument, and, of course, a whistle with which he produces his trademark toot. Popeye also on occasion eats spinach through his pipe, sometimes sucking in the can itself along with the contents. Since the 1970s, Popeye is seldom depicted using his pipe to smoke tobacco.

10.Teen Titans

The Teen Titans, also known as the New Teen Titans and the Titans, are a fictional superhero old cartoon character team appearing in American comic books published by DC comics often in an eponymous monthly series. As the group’s name suggests, its members are teenage superheroes, many of whom have acted as sidekicks to DC’s premiere superheroes in the Justice League. First appearing in 1964 in The Brave and the bold the team was founded by kid flash, Robin, and Aqualad, with the team adopting the name Teen Titans in issue 60 following the addition of wonder girl to its ranks.

  1. You do not need to remake Scooby-Doo there is way too many Scooby-Doo cartoons it is overrated just like Pokemon

  2. How about remake the ones that are not overrated and hardly have any seasons and have not been remade yet
